CITY UNIVERSITY – Educational Media (online/DVD)

As a producer and writer for Talking Dog Media, I directed a university distance learning site for City University. The imagination and quality of the work from our interactive and video teams was amazing, despite the 12 courses a month delivery. I was responsible for creative and operations of all content including coursework, graphics, and tutorials in Flash, Director, film/video formats. I also managed a team of writers for the online portion of the coursework, which involved establishing comprehensive style guides as well as mentoring the interactive writers to think past static to write for motion.

Upon entering the virtual museum, viewers navigated through a maze of rooms, each featuring famous philosophers. A click activates an audio quote. For this MBA, Project Management course, we took a reverse approach, where the voiceover drove the animation. The professor lectured in the studio. We later retrofit the design to his “live” lector.
